Stella Corporation has developed a measuring and AOI system "Bikkuri (＝surprise) Vision" as an entry model. It's a low-cost multi system with some functions such as measuring, software AOI, and verification. Firstly, the company releases 400 × 500 ㎜ size-enabled system "BV5040" and 200 × 300 ㎜ size-enabled system "BV2030".

Table 1 shows specification and main functions. Measuring function in the screen, data overlay function, and verification function after measuring and inspection were installed as basic functions. And also, in BV5040 software AOI function was added. Of course, it's possible to install software AOI function to BV2030 with correspondence to customer needs.
Either will be released not only hard system, but also bundle of hard system and CAD-CAM software "Stella Vision (simple function version)". Price of the latter could be minimized to 100 thousands yen and under.
Measuring accuracy is relatively low such as a few dozen μm. However, it's
possible to greatly improve measuring accuracy by adoption of linear scale
and granite stage.
