SCREEN Semiconductor Solutions transferred Laser Systems & Solutions of Europe SASU' all stock to Sumitomo Heavy Industries SCREEN Holdings announced the signing of a share transfer agreement on October 10 between SCREEN Holdings' group company, SCREEN Semiconductor Solutions (SCREEN SPE), and Sumitomo Heavy Industries, under which all shares of SCREEN SPE's wholly owned subsidiary, Laser Systems & Solutions of Europe SASU (France), will be transferred to Sumitomo Heavy Industries. Transfer will be completed at the end of November 2024. |

Toppan Photomask to Rebrand as Tekscend Photomask The Mitsubishi Chemical Group announced to increase its production capacity of ion exchange resins used to produce ultrapure water for use in semiconductor manufacturing processes at Mitsubishi Chemical's Kyushu-Fukuoka Plant in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan.Among existing facilities at the Kyushu-Fukuoka Plant, the refining facilities will be upgraded and are scheduled to go into operation in April 2026. |
